Our Favorite Science Activities

Collect nature items (rocks, leaves, acorns,
flowers, fruits and veggies) there is a variety of things you can do with these. Categorizing by size,shape, color, and texture. Looking at
objects under a microscope or magnifying glass.

Have older kids draw what they see. Cut them up and see what they look and feel like inside. Pumpkins are the funnest!!!

Planting seeds in late winter, Menards sells little green houses to start your
plants in. Have children plant seeds and water as directed. Chart
plants progress. When plants are ready to be put outside you can
continue to chart the plants progress until the fall.
